Stephen Handy, Attorney At Law

Stephen began his career in 1996 as a misdemeanor prosecutor for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office where he handled hundreds of DWI cases, theft cases, and drug related charges. He was later promoted to a Felony prosecutor position where he handled many felony cases, including sexual assaults, drug cases, aggravated robberies, and burglaries.

In 2000, Stephen left the District Attorney’s office and opened his criminal defense practice. Over the years, he has had the opportunity and privilege to represent many of the citizens of Tarrant County. As a sole practitioner, he focuses on personal attention and knowing each of his clients. Every client is important and providing effective representation is his first priority.

Stephen has the ability and qualifications to represent individuals being accused, investigated, or charged with criminal cases, individuals dealing with protective orders, and minors facing juvenile law cases.
