Kimberly Benjamin is a trial lawyer and partner with her brother Chris Benjamin at the Benjamin Law Firm, LLC in Belton, Missouri, where she practices primarily in the area of criminal defense, personal injury for plaintiffs and employment discrimination litigation. Kim attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and then law school at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. Since becoming a lawyer in 1996, she has participated in more than 60 jury trials, 100 bench trials and has handled hundreds of serious felonies, including over a dozen murder cases. Her most well-known case, which made national news, was from Lafayette County where all the men in a family were accused of 20-year old sex crimes against the children. Ultimately after years of hard work, and shortly after the judge granting her client released from jail on his own signature after 2 1/2 years, she earned a dismissal of all charges against her client. She had been asked to speak at national seminars about this case, most recently in Las Vegas, Nevada at the National Child Abuse Defense & Resource Center (NCADRC).
