Lenny has extensive experience in handling criminal matters involving all aspects of mental health-psychological issues. His background in the sciences, both hard and soft, enables him to communicate with experts and lay people in an extraordinary variety of disciplines and skills.

Lenny is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of Colorado, the Federal District and Circuit Courts in the 10th Circuit, as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is Of Counsel to Imhoff & Associates based in Los Angeles, California and Colorado Counsel for the firm, having been invited to join when the firm was The Cochran Firm, under Johnnie Cochran.

Lenny (along with fellow defense attorney Philip Cherner) instituted the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar on the Internet, established their Email listserv (now with over 700 participants), created and maintained their first website and Lenny personally maintained the list of Internet resources for the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar from its inception for the first six years.

As a direct result of Lenny's efforts, in 2015, Colorado again led the world by creating a state bar association Cannabis Law Committee. Michigan has followed our path with success. We have brought together the various legal disciplines, and brought them to the same table. Lenny was appointed by the Bar President to chair the committee, and was re-appointed by the new bar president. Response has been astonishing, with an initial membership of at least 50 lawyers.
