John Schiro leads the firm's criminal and traffic defense division and offers over thirty years of experience. Defending persons charged with a crime is not only John's profession but also his passion. John firmly believes it is the sacred duty of all criminal defense lawyers to see that justice is served for each and every client. The Government must not be allowed to take away the liberties granted to us by the Bill of Rights, our property, or our reputation without due process of law, and only if the Government can prove its allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. John has been an active member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys since its inception. He is a long-standing member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (President's Club Member). He has been selected to join the National College of DUI Defense Attorneys and has been named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in Criminal Defense for the last three years. In 2014 John received a certificate in forensic chromatography from the American Chemical Society, for mastering blood science as it relates to alcohol and drug cases.
