Brenton Bryant graduated law school =at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in just 2 1/2 years and passed the Bar exam on first attempt. He prosecuted criminal cases for the City of Fayetteville under Arkansas Supreme Court Rule as a law student. Since graduation, Mr. Bryant has defended hundreds of felony cases in Washington County for the State Public Defender Commission for 3 years and tried more felony cases during that time than all other public defenders in the District. He is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute for Advanced Trial Techniques at Mercer Law School.
Heather Ryan Campbell is an attorney with the Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP. After receiving her J.D. from the University of Arkansas in 2006, Heather joined the Sebastian County Prosecutor’s Office in Fort Smith as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Shortly thereafter, she returned to Fayetteville and continued her work as a Deputy Prosecutor in the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office where she worked until joining the Law Group in 2015.
With over 9 years of criminal and juvenile law practice, Heather brings a wealth of real-world knowledge, experience, and wisdom to guiding clients through difficult situations. Heather donates more than 100 hours each year coaching the University of Arkansas School of Law Student Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Armstrong’s practice includes civil litigation, family law, divorce, child custody, and criminal law. Mr. Armstrong has handled many divorce and custody cases involving contentious custody and financial battles with great success. He has a reputation for courtroom success and currently serves the University of Arkansas School of Law as an Adjunct Professor, coaching the National Trial Competition Teams each year. Mr. Armstrong began his career in civil practice in Fayetteville, AR and Rogers, AR before joining the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office. While there, he served as the Child Sexual Abuse Prosecutor, and his practice focused solely on the prosecution of sex crimes against children.
Chad L. Atwell is a former Benton County Deputy Prosecutor. In his time as a prosecutor he handled, resolved and tried many a wide variety of cases. He began prosecuting cases while still in Law School, under a special student-attorney program. In his time with Benton County he handled everything from misdemeanors to felonies, including being the Gun Violence Prosecutor. He was involved in the first Grand Jury in Benton County in over 20 years.
Chad obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, in Communication. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville in December of 2004, after finishing Law School early.
