Mr. Perlmutter has been in private practice in New York since 1992. His work focuses on criminal and extensive DWI defense. He has served on the Criminal Courts and Criminal Advocacy committees of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Mr. Perlmutter is also member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense. New York DWI law is complex, and Mr. Perlmutter has been trained and has the necessary experience to defend your case throughout NYC or in any court throughout southern New York State. He is certified in standardized field sobriety testing and in the operation of the Intoxilyzer 5000EN breath test device used by the NYPD.
