The Carles Johnson Law Firm
Background and Experience
Once a person is arrested for DWI, he/she may be charged with either a misdemeanor or felony DWI offense. If it is the person’s first time being arrested for driving under the influence, or if the person did not cause any third party or property damage, he/she will usually be charged with a misdemeanor. However, if the person has prior DWI convictions or if the person caused bodily harm to a third party or extensive property damage, it is very likely that he person will be charged with a felony offense. Attorney Charles Johnson can get involved from the onset of the legal process and provide insight and direction as the person’s case progresses. Additionally, Attorney Johnson can negotiate with judges and prosecutors to possibly have the person’s criminal charges reduced, or in some cases, dismissed entirely.
