Dan is a former DUI prosecutor with over eleven years of experience handling DUI and other criminal cases in Seattle, Federal Way, Tacoma and throughout Western Washington. After passing the Bar, Dan continued working as a prosecutor for four years in Federal Way and Pierce County, handling hundreds of DUI cases. Over time he realized that, despite a solid conviction record, he was more in tune with helping the accused than prosecuting them. Dan went into private practice in 2010, handling both DUI defense and personal injury litigation. In 2013, Dan formed Puget Law Group (formerly Gerl Law PLLC), focusing on DUI defense, criminal defense, and plaintiffs' personal injury.
