Michael Munoz the founder of Munoz Law Office is a former prosecutor at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Michael originally handled lower level felonies and misdemeanors then was moved to a Trial Unit where he prosecuted a wide array of felonies from Drug Possession, Theft, Forgery, misconduct involving weapons, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, and many others. After his success in a trial unit he was promoted to Major Crimes in the Vehicular Crimes Unit. While in the Vehicular crimes unit Michael prosecuted thousands of cases from Aggravated DUI class 4 felonies, Aggravated DUI class 6 felonies, Leaving the Scenes of Accidents, Negligent Homicide, Manslaughter, and Second Degree Murder. In Michael’s last year at the county attorneys office he successfully prosecuted two high profile Second Degree Murder cases.

Michael resigned from the County Attorneys Office and ran for public office. His first foray into politics ended with a close election and a narrow defeat of 8 votes out of 11,000.
