Background and Experience
Gregory P. Jimeno, a native of Anne Arundel County, served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County where he prosecuted criminal cases on behalf of the State of Maryland. Since entering private practice, Mr. Jimeno has become a recognized leader in representing individuals in the areas of criminal and DWI/DUI defense and representing individuals injured in automobile accidents. Mr. Jimeno has appeared in court and administrative hearings across the state, including appearing before the Court of Appeals, the highest court in Maryland. Mr. Jimeno is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs attended by other defense lawyers and police officers.
As a prosecutor, Mr. Jimeno attended the Anne Arundel County Police Academy Field Sobriety class and was certified by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration to perform field sobriety tests.
In recognition of his standing in the legal community, Mr. Jimeno has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers and Baltimore Magazines as well as a Leading Lawyer in What’s Up Annapolis Magazine. In addition, Mr. Jimeno has received a perfect 10/10 rating from the independent ranking service at Avvo.com. The National Trial Lawyers has named Mr. Jimeno as one of the Top 100 Lawyers In Maryland. Mr. Jimeno has also been called to as a “Well connected” lawyer by The Capital newspaper.
Mr. Jimeno is a Past-President of both the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and the Anne Arundel County Bar Foundation. In addition, Mr. Jimeno has served on the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Jimeno was a Gubenetorial appointment to the Anne Arundel County Judicial Nominating Commission, which reviews applicants for judicial vacancies and presents a list of qualified candidates to the Governor for appointment.
Mr. Jimeno received his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. For exceptional academic achievement, Mr. Jimeno earned a place in the Heuisler Honor Society. While in law school, Mr. Jimeno served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Baltimore Law Forum. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Jimeno served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Clayton Greene, Jr., now of the Court of Appeals, in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.

Mr. Jimeno is admitted to the Maryland State Bar as well as the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and the National College For DUI Attorneys.
