Mr. Kessous was one of only six defense attorneys statewide to defend clients before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the extensive breath test reliability hearings consolidated under State of New Jersey v. Chun, et al. Mr. Kessous began his career practicing as an associate in Camden County. Subsequently, he had the opportunity to associate himself with some of the foremost criminal and DWI practitioners throughout Essex, Middlesex and Union Counties where he participated in litigating high profile and complex matters, including DWI, drug possession/ distribution and homicides.
Mr. Kessous is currently only one of four attorneys throughout the entire State of NJ certified by the NJ Supreme Court as a Trial Specialist in both Criminal and Municipal Court Law matters, and was one of only six defense attorneys statewide to defend clients before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the extensive breath test reliability hearings consolidated under State of New Jersey v.
