Lloyd started as an Assistant Burleigh County State’s Attorney prosecuting criminal matters in Burleigh County including criminal and DUI law. His experience as a criminal prosecutor has brought with it the opportunity to try nearly 100 jury trials and argue dozens of appeals before the North Dakota Supreme Court. Lloyd also represented Burleigh County’s interests in multiple employment dispute matters, adding further to the diversity and breadth of his experience. When you are arrested for DUI, or if you refuse a PBT or chemical test, the DOT may suspend or revoke your driving privileges. You can request a hearing to fight your license being suspended or revoked but you only have a very short period of time to request a hearing.
