Matt began his legal career as a law student with Rosenblum, Schwartz, Rogers & Glass, P.C. in 2004 and was named partner in 2012. In 2016, he left to help form Hollingshead, Paulus, Eccher, and Fry, P.C. Matt serves on the boards for the St. Louis County Bar Association and Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (“MACDL”), on the DWI and Nominating committees for MACDL, and as a member of the National College for DUI Defense. Matt's main area of practice is criminal defense, with a special interest in defending DWI, Drug, and Sex offenses. Matt also helps the injured with their personal injury claims and workers who have been wrongfully terminated. In his free time, Matt enjoys teaching Trial Advocacy II at St. Louis University School of Law.

In 2007, Matthew was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of St. Louis' 30 Under 30, in 2010 as one of Missouri Lawyers Weekly Up & Coming Lawyers, from 2012-2016 as one of Super Lawyers' Rising Stars, in 2014 as MACDL's Bernard Edelman Award Winner, and in 2016 as MACDL’s Case of the Year Award.
