Mike Sherman "wrote the book" on Pennsylvania DUI law. Former Pennsylvania State Police attorney Mike Sherman is the co-author of Pennsylvania Driving Under the Influence Law and Practice (Bisel Co.). He's the Go to Guy for DUI. In 1991, he became counsel to the State Police on all matters relating to law enforcement. In 1997, he opened a law office strictly dedicated to DUI law and criminal defense. Then, in 1999, he served as a member of the trial team that was appointed to represent the County of Allegheny located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the “Tobacco Litigation”. This was a multimillion dollar lawsuit against the nation’s largest tobacco companies. He sought damages for injuries caused to the county relating to payments it made for tobacco related illnesses.
