Background and Experience
Baldwin County Alabama Criminal Defense Attorney Pascal Bruijn graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1993. In 1997, he obtained his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. After passing the Alabama State Bar, Mr Bruijn worked as an Assistant District Attorney with the Baldwin County District Attorney's Office from 1998 through 2001. While at the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Bruijn prosecuted more than 60 jury trials ranging from theft to capital murder. From 2001 through 2004, Mr. Bruijn defended civil claims on behalf of national insurance companies such as Allstate, State Farm, Progressive, and Penn National. During that same time, Mr. Bruijn was appointed Special Assistant Attorney General by Alabama Attorney General Troy King to conduct civil litigation on behalf of the State of Alabama.
In 2004, Mr. Bruijn founded Pascal Bruijn, L.L.C. and has his office in Bay Minette, Alabama. Mr. Bruijn defends criminal cases in municipal, state and federal courts all over Alabama. Mr. Bruijn also accepts select plaintiff civil cases such as personal injury and car crash cases.
