Ron Aslam is a criminal defense and personal injury attorney dedicated to defending the rights and protecting the interests of individuals in and around the Louisville, Kentucky area. He has a vast range of experience on both the prosecutorial and defense sides of the courtroom, and, over the course of his first decade of practice, he has proven time and again that he can win great results for his clients.

Ron is proud to have been born right here in Louisville, in the great state of Kentucky, and he has called Kentucky his home throughout most of his life. Ron attended Dupont Manual High School in Louisville, and then attended Denison University before returning to his home state where he attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating in 2006.

After passing the Kentucky bar, Ron went straight to work defending the rights of Kentucky citizens and gaining experience in criminal law courtrooms by joining the Public Defender’s office in Cynthiana, Kentucky. There, he defended citizens charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies.
In 2008, Ron returned to Louisville and switched over to the prosecutorial side of criminal practice, working as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney. In that role, Ron prosecuted a host of felony cases, including drug possession and trafficking, burglaries, robberies and murder. Prosecuting such a wide range of criminal cases for three years in Louisville gave Ron an in-depth understanding of how prosecutors strategize and build cases, skills that he now uses to defend suspects and defendants against law enforcement investigations and criminal prosecutions.

In 2011, Ron put his years of experience as a prosecutor and public defender to use in opening the Ron Aslam Law Office, defending the rights and interests of criminal suspects and defendants in and around the Louisville area. Later, in 2014 Ron joined forces with fellow attorneys Brendan Daugherty and Nick Neumann to form Daugherty Neumann & Aslam, PLLC (also known as DNA Law) in order to offer clients the increased resources and services of a multi-lawyer firm.
