Shawn Dominy's practice is focused on representing clients charged with DUI/OVI, Vehicular Homicide/Vehicular Assault, and criminal offenses. He practices solely on DUI/OVI defense. He regularly participates in national seminars on the topics of DUI/OVI and criminal law, and he frequently speak at seminars where he teaches other Ohio attorneys about DUI/OVI. Mr. Dominy has undergone training in field sobriety testing (the same training law enforcement officers undergo from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration), breath alcohol testing (for the Datamaster and Intoxilyzer breath-testing machines), and blood/urine testing (gas chromatograph operation). He twice completed the summer course at Harvard Law School from the National College for DUI Defense, and he annually attends the autumn seminar presented by the National College for DUI Defense. He continuously seeks additional training to improve his effectiveness as a lawyer.
