Sonja R. Porter Attorney At Law, PLLC

SONJA R. PORTER is the owner of Sonja R. Porter, Attorney at Law, PLLC, which she started on October 1, 2011. Prior to that she was an associate and member of the DUI Defense Team of Fabian & Associates, Inc., P.C, one of the first DUI defense firms. She focuses her practice in DUI law, traffic laws, criminal procedure, and expungements. Prior to that, she was an Assistant District Attorney for Oklahoma County and personally prosecuted hundreds of DUI cases in addition to other criminal charges. She has been commended by judges, opposing counsel, and others for her work in the courtroom. Since leaving the DA’s office, Ms. Porter has defended those who have been charged with DUI, other criminal charges, violations of probation, and has assisted individuals with expunging their records.

She continues to educate herself in order to stay current about the various changing aspects of this field in order to successfully defend and negotiate DUI cases and to share her knowledge with others individually and in seminars.

She has been certified as an Independent Specialist of the Intoxilyzer 5000-D and as an Independent Operator of the Intoxilyzer 8000 by Oklahoma’s Board of Tests for Alcohol and Drug Influence. She has completed the NHTSA/IACP Standardized Field Sobreity Testing Student Course
